Order Processing & Shipping
Non-engraved orders will normally ship within 2 business days and orders requiring engraving or customization will normally ship within 5-6 business days (10 business days for Survival Kits).
First-Class Mail shipments generally take 2-5 days to arrive depending on your distance from San Diego, and Priority Mail packages generally arrive in 1-3 days. Any orders shipping within the US (or to an APO/FPO address) can be upgraded to Priority Mail for $4.99.
We also offer FedEx 2-Day Air and FedEx Overnight shipping with shipping rates varying based on the weight of your order. Keep in mind that FedEx generally does not deliver to residential addresses on weekends.
You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order ships.
Orders of $75+ will receive an automatic upgrade to Priority Mail shipping -- just choose the free shipping option and we'll take it from there.
Note that your choice of First Class vs. Priority Mail vs. FedEx 2-Day vs. FedEx Overnight only affects the transit time -- order production time is still subject to the processing times listed above. If we are in a busy time of the year and you need to have production rushed for your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 858.952.6719 and we can discuss rush fees.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If you order a product that we are unable to ship to your location we will notify you and refund that portion of your order. Please note: we cannot assume responsibility for any delays, confiscated products, or loss that occurs as a result of international customs. While our customs declarations describe our products as novelty bottle openers, occasionally customs agents will seize them because they resemble live ammunition. Also, any additional customs/duty fees that may be levied by international customs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Despite our best efforts to package our products safely and securely, occasionally things can get damaged while in transit. If your order arrives in poor condition, please send photos to email@example.com and we'll send replacements.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). We cannot offer refunds or replacements on customized orders unless we made a mistake in producing the order.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
